The engine oil centrifugal filter cap gasket is a high use item for me when it comes to regular oil servicing. The gasket material works as designed and the cost for a replacement is very cheap. Replacement of this gasket on the Honda Monkey 125 as per the maintenance schedule is every twelve thousand kilometers but I service my engine oil and clean out my engine oil centrifugal filter a lot more frequently due to the way my motorcycle is ridden and I prefer it this way. Please note when installing this gasket it has a raised edge on one side of the gasket which is to be fitted facing toward from the centrifugal filter cap.
* About quality and texture, Packaging comes with a cardboard backing to help the gasket maintain it's shape and the gasket has a metal liner covered in gasket material.* About the feeling of use, Being an Honda OEM gasket the fit is perfect with no leaks between oil filter cleaning.* Products to buy together, The clutch cover requires removal to access the oil filter so you also need to purchase a R/H crankcase cover gasket.* Difficulty of installation, Install the gasket with the raised surface outward from the oil filter. The process was completed in 2 minutes with no difficultly.* Cost performance and comparison with other products, Honda OEM part at a price that beats all the other brands offering this product.* About shipping and packaging, I am happy to wait 6 weeks on average for my parts to arrive in Sydney Australia via Webike's sea freight which comes with tracking and insurance so I know I'm covered in case something was to go wrong but with there outstanding bubble wrapping and boxing there have been no problems.* Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing, Being a part from Thai Honda OEM motorcycle part you can purchase direct from Webike Thailand. Use the product reviews to assist in making a decision on your purchase.View Detail
About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of clutch thrust washer from Honda, a steel washer with an internal diameter of 17 mm and and external diameter of 29 mm.About the feeling of use: A part that will service many tens of thousands of kilometers when assembled correctly with it's mating part, the clutch basket and clutch pack.Products to buy together: Since you will have the clutch apart for the replacement of the clutch thrust washer then a new set of clutch disks and clutch plates would also be desirable to purchase along side the clutch thrust washer if excess wear is found.Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about 1 hours, remove the right crankcase cover to be able to access the clutch pack and remove it as a whole. Once this is removed the clutch thrust waser can be swapped by sliding it off the splined shaft and then reverse the process to complete the install. A little difficult to do.Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are receiving reliable Honda quality for a low price so no needed to look elsewhere for this part.About shipping and packaging: Sea frieght was my perferred method of shipping due to the lower cost but currently unavailable due to Japan Post. Webike kept me updated on the status of my order up to when it shipped. The parcel arrived within the expected date range and was well packaged with no chance of the part being damaged.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing: The Webike OEM parts section will be most helpful for sourcing other parts needed for your repairs.View Detail
About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of clutch outer housing from Honda, with the outer housing cast from aluminium it also includes a steel drive gear attached to the aft side.About the feeling of use: A part that will service many tens of thousands of kilometers when assembled correctly with it's mating part, the clutch pack assembly.Products to buy together: Since you will have the clutch apart for the replacement of the clutch outer housing then a new set of clutch disks and clutch plates would also be desirable to purchase along side the clutch outer housing if excess wear is found.Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about 1 hours, remove the right crankcase cover to be able to access the clutch assemble and remove it as a whole. Once this is removed the clutch outer housing can be swapped by sliding it off the splined shaft and then reverse the process to complete the install. A little difficult to do.Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are receiving reliable Honda quality at an affordable price for your repairs as compared to a complete clutch kits from SP Takegawa which are extremely expensive.About shipping and packaging: Sea frieght was my perferred method of shipping due to the lower cost but currently unavailable due to Japan Post. About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the flywheel bearing, a steel needle bearing from NTN.About the feeling of use: Smooth operation out of the packet and once in operation there was not ill effect or abnormal noise.Products to buy together: A replacement left crankcase cover gasket would also be desirable to purchase along side the flywheelbearing for re-assembly.Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about one and a half hours, removal of the left engine cover is needed to access the flywheel, using a pulley holder and a flywheel puller is needed during the removal process. Once removed simply fit the new bearing after being oiled and reverse the process for the installationl. A little difficult to do. Cost performance and comparison with other products: Great costing as you are getting Honda quality via their supplier NTN at next to nothing, why would you risk using an aftermarket bearing for your repairs.About shipping and packaging: Sea frieght was my perferred method of shipping due to the lower cost but currently unavailable due to Japan Post. About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the clutch bearing, a steel radial ball bearing from NACHI.About the feeling of use: Smooth operation out of the packet and once slipped into the clutch lifter.Products to buy together: A replacement right crankcase gasket would also be desirable to purchase along side the clutch bearing for assembly of the clutch cover.Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes three quarters of an hour, removal of the clutch cover for access is needed and then a simple swapping out of the bearings as the bearing is not pressed and not special tools are required. Not difficult to do.Cost performance and comparison with other products: Great costing as you are getting Honda quality via their supplier NACHI at next to nothing, why would you risk using an aftermarket bearing.About shipping and packaging: The faster shipping options are too expensive for myself so I just have to wait for my part to arrive via sea freight. Webike kept me updated on the status of my order up to when it shipped. The parcel arrived within the expected date range and was well packaged with no chance of the part being damaged.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing: The Webike OEM parts section will be most helpful for sourcing other parts needed for your rebuild.View Detail
About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of cast aluminium clutch center from Honda.About the feeling of use: A part that will service many tens of thousands of kilometers when assembled correctly with it's mating part, the clutch pressure plate.Products to buy together: Since you will have the clutch assembly apart for the replacement of the clutch center then a new set of clutch disks and clutch plates would also be desirable to purchase along side the clutch center if excess wear if found.Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about 2 hours, remove the right crankcase cover to be able to access the clutch assemble and remove it as a whole for disassembly on a workshop bench. Once disassenbled, start with the new clutch pressure plate then adding the clutch disks and plates before aligning the pressure plate and clutch center correctly then bolting down the lifter plate. A little difficult to do.Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are receiving reliable Honda quality at an affordable price for your repairs as compared to a complete clutch kit replacement from Kitaco or Takegawa for hundreds of dollars.About shipping and packaging: The faster shipping options are too expensive for myself so I just have to wait for my part to arrive via sea freight. Really nice stainless steel exhaust system from Special Parts Takegawa at a great price here on Webike. If you are looking to get rid of the quite Honda OEM exhaust system but still wish to retain the factory look of your Honda Monkey then this is the exhaust system for you. This exhaust gives the little 50cc engine a nice note that you can now hear. Fit and finish of the exhaust is very nice and I do like the fact that if required in the future repacking of the muffler is made simple by the the use of rivets in the end cap. Comes with everything you need for a successful installation.View Detail
I was in the market for a new air filter for the Monkey and decided to give this one from Special Parts Takegawa a try. I have not purchased a part from Special Parts Takegawa that I did not like and this part is no different, it gives that nice intake noise and just looks trick sticking out the side of the frame like that. I will say that I would like to add the water resistant cover that they also sell to suit their pod style air filter. Comes with a breather attachment so you do not need to run an additional breather filter which will save you a few dollars.View Detail

When I picked up this Monkey the Honda OEM rear shock had no life left in them and I did not even waste anytime looking at other brands just went with these rear shocks from Special Parts Takegawa as they are my go to brand for the Monkey and have not disapponited this time either. Simple installation that anyone can do with the basic tools in your garage and I would suggest also remembering to add a little grease to the mounting posts to keep that area rust free. Nice OEM looking rear shocks with a spring rating that is more suitable for an average sized person. View Detail

I really love this part from Special Parts Takegawa, it just makes the Monkey look a million dollars and gives the engine overall just a better feeling. This special clutch kit also now gives you the ability to have a real oil filter and if you are going to run an oil cooler also the ability to have it start cooling when required by adding a thermostat. Such great thought has gone into designing this part. Installation skill required is medium and you will be needing some special tools which Webike has on offer. Expensive but well worth it. After some researching into all the different kits available for the Honda Monkey here on Webike I decided to go with this particular kit from Special Parts Takegawa mainly because it tucked nicely out of the way under the luggage rack with the up style exhaust and had the correct breather fitting to work with the clutch cover I have fitted to the engine. Do yourself a favour and also buy some hose a cutter from Webike too so you can have a perfect finish once the installation is complete. An expensive kit but it comes with everything you need and you don not have to spend a dollar more.View Detail
